Notification to the Ministry of Labour regarding cases of workforce reduction due to total or partial closure of establishments

This service allows employers to notify the Ministry of Labour about cases of workforce reduction resulting from the total or partial closure of an establishment, in accordance with Article (110) of the Labour Law for the Private Sector No. (36) of 2012. Employers are called upon to abide by the provisions of Law No. (37) of 2015, which state: "(In cases other than the total closure of the facility, it is prohibited to terminate the employment contract of a Bahraini worker who possesses the same efficiency and experience as a foreign worker employed in the same establishment)."
