MLSD Minister Discusses with MP AlSaloum Improving National Human Resources

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received His Excellency Ahmed Sabah Al‑Salloum, Member of the Council of Representatives, at the Ministry to discuss ways to deepen cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities in support of development and social projects and initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, Humaidan briefed MP Al‑Salloum on the Ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance social welfare, qualify and integrate citizens seeking employment into private‑sector establishments, and maintain employment stability under various circumstances. He highlighted the Ministry's support for youth initiatives and assistance in establishing entrepreneurial projects and small and medium enterprises. He noted the Council of Representatives' role in supporting legislation, proposals and initiatives that improve and develop labour and social services. For his part, MP Al‑Salloum underscored the importance of close cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, citing its positive impact on strengthening the social protection system and improving the level and quality of services provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to citizens, thereby advancing the desired sustainable development goals.
