MLSD Efforts to Recruit National Labor in Private Sector

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received His Excellency Mr. Ali Mohammed Ishaqi, Member of the Council of Representatives, at the Ministry. During the meeting, Humaidan briefed the MP on the foremost initiatives and projects undertaken by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to serve citizens—particularly those related to rehabilitation and employment programmes, developing labour‑market systems, and enhancing employment stability for citizens in the private sector. He emphasised the Government’s commitment to providing comprehensive social care to all segments of society. For his part, MP Ishaqi praised the Ministry’s efforts to implement the Government’s policy of ensuring a decent standard of living for citizens and delivering the best services. He noted the measures adopted during these exceptional circumstances to safeguard employment stability for national human resources in private‑sector establishments, along with the Ministry’s work to foster community development and strengthen its social partnerships with NGOs.
