MLSD Minister Meeting with Japanese Ambassador

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Masayuki Miyamoto, at the Ministry. Humaidan welcomed the Ambassador at the outset of his mission, wishing him every success in enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries. In this context, Humaidan reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts to develop human capital, the progress of the labour‑market reform project, and initiatives to strengthen social protection for workers and attract additional investment, underpinned by advanced national legislation and a competitive business environment. He expressed hope to deepen cooperation by drawing on the pioneering experience of both nations in labour, welfare and social development. Ambassador Miyamoto voiced his pleasure at serving in Bahrain and affirmed Japan’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations across diverse development fields.
