MLSD Minister Receives Jamal Al-Yaqout Book

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met in his office at the Ministry with the Director of the Saudi newspaper Al Jazirah in the Kingdom of Bahrain, writer Mr Jamal Mohammed Al Yaqout, who presented him with a copy of his book, The Beauty of Words is Beauty. The volume features famous sayings and expressive imagery, in addition to photographs documenting the writer’s meetings with several heads of state and prominent figures. During the meeting, Humaidan praised Al Yaqout’s contributions to the media and writing fields, noting the notable effort invested in the book and its demonstration of the beauty of the Arabic word and its impact on the human psyche. He noted that the work is a valuable addition to the Arab library and heritage, particularly for those interested in culture, as it documents—through photography—the men who contributed to building their countries and the personalities who left their mark on social and economic life. For his part, Al Yaqout commended the Minister of Labour and Social Development’s support for media professionals and writers, encouraging creativity and enriching Bahraini and Gulf libraries with publications that reflect the heritage and history of the region and its cultural legacy across various fields.
