Ministry of Labor and Social Development celebrates with Employment Director for receiving the National Medal

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, and senior executives, the Ministry held a ceremony honouring the Director of the Employment, Mr Hussein Ali Al Shami, on the occasion of his receiving the National Labour Medal from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country's great King, may God protect and preserve him, today, Thursday, at the Ministry’s building in Zayed City. In his address, His Excellency affirmed that this high honour reflects His Majesty the King’s profound keenness to recognise all sincere efforts dedicated to serving the nation, advancing the performance of state institutions, and driving further productivity, effectiveness, and progress. He expressed pride in seeing one of the Ministry’s directors among this distinguished group of honourees who, each within their sphere of responsibility, have contributed to national achievements. His Excellency highlighted the role of the Director of the Employment Department in successfully implementing the Ministry’s strategy for employing job seekers, praising his national spirit, integrity, and dedication, which merited the conferral of this esteemed medal. His Excellency added that such recognition imposes a doubled responsibility upon the honourees to continue giving and persevering, serving the nation and its citizens in this prosperous era of the Kingdom of Bahrain. For his part, Mr Al Shami stressed that the medal is a tribute to the collective efforts of the Ministry’s staff rather than an individual accolade, noting that working within an integrated system is the foundation of public‑service success. He affirmed that this honour is an incentive to exert greater effort to enhance services provided to citizens and elevate them to new horizons of excellence and creativity, in alignment with His Majesty’s visions and wise directives. He extended his thanks to His Excellency the Minister for his guidance and care, and expressed appreciation to all officials and administrative staff who worked alongside him as steadfast partners in fulfilling his duties to the fullest.
