His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met with Ms. Zaina Jassim Ali, a member of the Municipal Council in the Northern Governorate, at his office on Wednesday. During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation to support development projects implemented by civil society organisations in the Northern Governorate and facilitating procedures related to the Ministry’s operations. The aim is to advance voluntary and charitable work through the improvement of service facilities affiliated with charitable societies. In this context, the importance of community partnership between relevant stakeholders was emphasised, in order to achieve the objectives of noble charitable and humanitarian work and to identify the essential needs of facilities required by these organisations to enable them to fulfil their role in serving citizens — particularly individuals with limited income and low-income families — with greater ease and efficiency.
