MLSD Minister discusses with the Qatari the improvement of services

His Excellency Minister of Labour and Social Development Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan today received MP Fatima Abbas Al Qatari, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Select Committee on Women and Child Affairs and member of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee at the Council of Representatives. The meeting reviewed recent labour‑market developments, measures to safeguard the rights and stability of the national workforce under all conditions, and ways to enhance solidarity in support of comprehensive development. Humaidan outlined current ministry initiatives and programmes that benefit every segment of society and reiterated the ministry’s commitment to close cooperation with the legislative authority to ensure citizens enjoy a dignified standard of living. MP Al Qatari praised the ministry’s prompt, inclusive service delivery in labour and social‑care fields and its open communication with lawmakers. She noted that this partnership will further advance services for female job seekers, women, productive families, and children, while supporting efforts to refine national legislation that protects and empowers these groups.
