MLSD Minister reviews with PM Ishaqi the opportunities in Bahrain labor market

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met in his office with His Excellency Mr Ali Mohammed Ishaqi, Member of the Council of Reprsentatives, to discuss ways of deepening cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, particularly in strengthening labour‑ and social‑sector legislation that delivers high‑quality development services to every segment of society. Humaidan outlined key initiatives and projects the Ministry is implementing for citizens—most notably rehabilitation and employment programmes, labour‑market system upgrades, and measures that enhance investment in human capital and preserve job stability under diverse economic conditions—alongside a broad range of care services for all groups across the Kingdom of Bahrain. In turn, MP Ishaqi praised the Ministry’s efforts to enact government policy aimed at ensuring a dignified standard of living for citizens and delivering first‑rate services. He also highlighted the Ministry’s steps during these exceptional circumstances to safeguard job stability for Bahraini workers in private‑sector establishments.
