MLSD Minister discusses with PM Zainab Abdel Amir efforts to attract young people to private sector facilities and develop the work environment

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received Member of Parliament Ms Zainab Abdulamir Ibrahim at the Ministry. Their discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to advance employment projects for citizens, develop the private‑sector work environment and streamline the delivery of development services to all targeted groups. Humaidan outlined recent ministry initiatives designed to prepare job seekers for the labour market, integrate them into businesses and raise their professional performance. He highlighted incentives that encourage employers to recruit young Bahrainis, integrate them into private‑sector establishments and support programmes that reinforce social protection, family development and economic empowerment throughout the Kingdom. Ms Abdulamir praised the Ministry’s commitment to offering its wide range of labour and social‑welfare services through transparent electronic platforms that shorten processing times and ensure equitable access for all citizens. She affirmed her support for such initiatives, noting that effective cooperation and coordination between the legislative and executive authorities remain essential to guaranteeing a dignified standard of living and the best possible services for every citizen.
