MLSD Minister briefs MP Al-Sawad on efforts to enhance the stability of national employment in private sector establishments

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received Member of Parliament Fadhel Abbas Al Sawad in his office on Tuesday to explore avenues for deepening cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities in ways that enhance the Ministry’s labour‑market and social‑care services for every segment of Bahraini society. Humaidan reiterated the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to creating quality employment opportunities for citizens and maintaining their employment stability under all circumstances. He underlined ongoing initiatives that strengthen social protection, promote family development and support economic empowerment so that households can improve their standard of living through access to the necessary resources. The Minister also stressed the importance of sustained collaboration with the Council of Representatives to advance legislation that drives progress in labour affairs and social welfare. Al Sawad praised the Ministry’s efforts to expand its development services and safeguard the national workforce, particularly during the current exceptional conditions. He highlighted the vital role of close coordination between the legislative and executive branches in serving the public interest, especially by supporting job seekers, developing their professional capabilities and broadening social‑protection programmes.
