MLSD Minister praises the efforts of the Real Estate Development Association

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Property Development Association, Eng. Aref Ahmed Hejres, at the Ministry, in the presence of several members of the Association’s board. During the meeting, Hejres outlined the Association’s principal objectives, future plans and programmes, and the role it plays in supporting the real‑estate sector. He also expressed the Association’s desire to streamline government procedures through closer cooperation and coordination with relevant entities, in pursuit of its strategy to raise awareness of the importance of Property Development. Humaidan commended the Association’s work and its members’ commitment to serving the real‑estate sector in general, and developers in particular, by advancing projects and offering informed views that expedite project completion. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to community partnership and to strengthening collaboration with civil‑society organisations to advance social development. For his part, Hejres praised the Ministry’s oversight and support, which empower civil‑society organisations to fulfil their societal role in serving citizens and embody the principles of community partnership.
