MLSD Minister Discusses with PM AlSaleh the Cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities

His Excellency Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, met with Member of Parliament Mr. Mamdooh Abbas Al Saleh at the Ministry. During the meeting, they reviewed several labour and social issues designed to strengthen coordination between the legislative and executive branches. Humaidan praised the Council’s role in supporting legislation related to the Ministry’s mandate, urging continued collaboration to improve services delivered to citizens, particularly in social welfare, the qualification and integration of jobseekers into private-sector establishments, and sustaining employment stability under all circumstances. For his part, Al Saleh commended the Ministry of Labour and Social Development’s efforts to implement government policies that ensure a decent standard of living for citizens and provide services efficiently and conveniently. He highlighted the Ministry’s adoption of modern technology to enhance service‑delivery mechanisms, stressing that such advances boost efficiency, effectiveness and accessibility for beneficiaries.
