MLSD Minister Receives a copy of the Geographical series of Samaheej village

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met with writer Dr. Sheikh Jamal Ahmed Al Kharfoush, who presented him with the first part of his geographical series, Location, Surface, Agriculture and Residential Neighbourhoods, at the Ministry’s headquarters. Humaidan praised Dr. Al Kharfoush’s effort in producing this specialised scientific, cultural and documentary work, describing it as a valuable addition to the Bahraini library. The book focuses on the village of Samaheej, detailing its geographical location, distinctive surface forms, and natural features, as well as its agricultural heritage and farms, as well as the most prominent residential neighbourhoods. Dr. Al Kharfoush expressed his gratitude to the Minister for supporting authors and specialists in science and culture across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
