MLSD Minsiter Discusses with MP Qambar the Promotion of job Opportunities & Improvement of the Standard Living of citizens

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met with Member of the Council of Representatives, His Excellency MP Ammar Sami Qambar, today, Wednesday, in his office at the Ministry. During the meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities to meet citizens’ aspirations by expanding job opportunities and improving living standards through the social welfare and protection services provided to them. In this context, His Excellency the Minister briefed the Deputy on the relevant projects and programmes, emphasising the Ministry’s constant endeavour to develop performance and raise the quality of services delivered to citizens. For his part, MP Qambar praised the efforts of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development—particularly its implementation of Government policy aimed at ensuring a decent standard of living for citizens and providing them with the best services—and noted the importance of bolstering cooperation to advance projects and initiatives in the fields of labour and social development.
