MLSD Minister Meets with Sanabis Charity Assocciate

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met in his office with His Excellency MP Mamdooh Abbas Al‑Saleh, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sanabis Charity Society, Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Mansour, and several members of the Society’s Board of Directors. The meeting reviewed avenues of cooperation in the labour and social welfare fields, along with the Ministry’s role in facilitating and supporting the work of NGOs, enabling them to fulfil their humanitarian and social responsibilities. Discussions with the Sanabis Charity Society focused on topics aimed at empowering it to realise its humanitarian objectives and implement initiatives that promote social solidarity. Humaidan praised the Society’s efforts and its important role in identifying and advancing community needs while fostering the values of solidarity and giving. He emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to maximise the use of available support, thereby ensuring the growth and development of civil society institutions. He also emphasised the importance of supporting all civil society entities across various fields and removing any obstacles that might hinder them from achieving their objectives. The Society’s Chairman expressed gratitude and appreciation to Minister Humaidan for the Ministry’s efforts in assisting NGOs to comply with laws and regulations, enabling them to perform their roles impartially and professionally and to fulfil their charitable mission.
