His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met today, Sunday, at the Ministry with Her Excellency MP Fatima Abbas Qassim, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bani Jamra Charity Society, Mr. Mohammed Taleb Al Ghasra, and several members of the Society’s Board. Mr. Al Ghasra outlined the principal activities and initiatives undertaken by the Bani Jamra Charity Society, notably programmes that provide charitable assistance to needy families in the region in co‑operation with relevant governmental and private institutions. He also highlighted the Society’s efforts to organise events aimed at raising the academic level of village residents and reviewed key challenges it faces, seeking streamlined procedures to enhance its charitable and social role. Mr. Humaidan praised the contributions of NGOs, including the Bani Jamra Charity Society, for their services and social and humanitarian programmes that benefit the nation and its citizens. He emphasised the importance of NGOs’ involvement in supporting the Kingdom’s development process and affirmed the Ministry of Labour and Social Development’s commitment to backing their efforts and resolving any obstacles in accordance with regulations and laws.
