The Ministry of Labor and Social Development Completes the first phase of the (Bahrainna) initiatives

The Special Committee for Implementing Initiatives Related to the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, within the National Plan to Enhance National Belonging and Consolidate the Values of Citizenship "Bahrainuna", held its meeting via video‑conference, chaired by the Acting Under‑Secretary of the Ministry, Assistant Under‑Secretary for Community Development, Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman Ishaq Al‑Kooheji. The meeting discussed the latest developments and progress of the executive teams for the Ministry’s initiatives. Mr. Khalid Al‑Kooheji commended the efforts of the teams involved in implementing the initiatives and their commitment to adhering to the established work plans. He emphasised the Ministry of Labour and Social Development’s commitment to implementing its initiatives successfully and with distinction. During the meeting, the committee reviewed the latest developments in the implementation of the Ministry's “Experts Registry” initiative, which is being implemented in partnership with the Information and eGovernment Authority. The initiative aims to launch a comprehensive national platform that includes a database of Bahraini experts and specialists in various fields, documenting their academic and professional biographies, in addition to issuing a guide that defines experts, the requirements and standards required for their accreditation within the Experts Registry platform, and the benefits they will receive. The meeting reviewed progress made regarding the Ministry's “For You” initiative, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Civil Service Bureau. The initiative aims to highlight citizens working in hazardous and arduous jobs and tasks. The Ministry has already completed the first phase of the initiative and is currently preparing for the second phase. In the same context, the meeting reviewed the efforts made by the Ministry's “Networking initiative between NGOs” initiative team, which aims to launch community initiatives in partnership between organisations and relevant entities. Several working groups were established to coordinate tasks with relevant entities and distribute work according to the main phases of the implementation plan developed by the relevant team. The Ministry of Labour and Social Development is implementing the three initiatives within the National Plan to Enhance National Belonging and Consolidate the Values of Citizenship "Bahrainuna", which includes 105 initiatives, with 25 government entities and institutions participating in its implementation, across five main tracks focused on belonging programmes, public‑relations campaigns, media initiatives, curriculum and course initiatives, and legislative and regulatory initiatives.
