Formation of a Trade Union
This service concerns the depositing of the Incorporation papers for the establishment of trade union organisations, whether unions or federations, in accordance with Article (4) of the Trade Unions Law No. (33) of 2002. The papers for establishing trade union organisations are deposited to acquire an independent legal personality after ensuring compliance with the Trade Unions Law and the laws in force in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Trade union organisations are entities established to protect workers' interests and defend their rights.

- Workers in any establishment, or a specific sector, or a specific activity, or similar or related industries or crafts may establish one or more unions of their own in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (33) of 2002 regarding labor unions
- The establishment of the union shall not be on a sectarian, religious or ethnic basis.
- Workers subject to the civil service regulations shall have the right to join it.
- The number of members of the general assembly (founders) shall be three or more and the number of members shall be ten or more.
- To be among the workers to whom the provisions of this law apply.
- Not to be the employer in the establishment or one of the officials responsible for drawing up its policy by making decisions therein.
The following conditions must be met by a member of the labor union
- When starting the service, the system will request the primary electronic key.
- Enter the primary electronic key.
- When logging in, choose the labor union services and choose the service of depositing trade union organization papers from the list.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Attach the required documents.
- Click on Continue" after verifying the accuracy of the information."
- Attach the minutes of the founding meeting.
- Attach a list of the names of the founders with their signatures.
- Attach copies of personal cards.
- Attach the union's bylaws.
