MLSD Minister meets PM Al-Bahrani

His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met in his office at the Ministry with His Excellency MP Mahmoud Makki Al Bahrani, in the presence of the heads and several members of the Sadad Charity Social Society and the Al-Malikiyah Charitable Society, in addition to representatives of the Al Lawzi Association (under establishment). During the meeting, the Ministry’s efforts to integrate citizens into the labour market were reviewed, together with the contributions of civil society organisations in this regard. The discussions also highlighted the role of charitable societies in promoting development and volunteer work, as well as the mission of these organisations to realise their noble humanitarian objectives. In this context, the Ministry of Labour and Social Development seeks to support civil society organisations under its umbrella and supervision, in accordance with legal procedures, enabling them to implement their social programmes for the benefit of all segments and classes of society. MP Al Bahrani commended the efforts made by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to enhance its development services in the areas of labour and social welfare, as part of the Government’s policy to ensure a decent standard of living for citizens and to provide them with the best services with ease and convenience at all its branch centres across the Kingdom’s governorates.
