On this occasion, Humaidan praised the efforts of charitable societies in serving citizens and addressing their needs; he expressed his approval of the committee’s request to sponsor the upcoming mass wedding ceremony, Takamul 2, stressing the importance of the role played by NGOs in supporting young people, especially in educating them about married life and guiding them to obtain the rights and gains guaranteed by the state in the areas of employment, improving wages, and social assistance. These rights raise their standard of living and ensure the stability and development of their families within the social protection system in the Kingdom of Bahrain. At the same time, he noted the Ministry’s keenness to support charitable societies and civil society organisations and to facilitate the procedures that ensure they carry out their work and achieve their goals in serving the community smoothly and effectively. For their part, the members of the Coordination Committee commended the support they receive from the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, which enables them to competently carry out their assigned role in serving the nation and its citizens, based on the principles of effective community partnership among the Kingdom’s institutions.
