Al-Dosari opens two new units at Inmaa Center for Special Education

His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Mr Sabah Salem Al Dosari, inaugurated the Sensory Integration and Sensory Skills Development Units at Enmaa Centre for Special Education, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Social Care and Rehabilitation, Shaikha Aisha bint Ali Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Centre’s Board of Directors, Mr Abdul Rahman Al Ghanim, and the heads of Al Eker Charitable Society and Al Ma'ameer Charity Society. The Centre affirmed that its foremost mission is the full integration of persons with disabilities into society, while delivering quality services within the framework of effective community partnership. The newly opened units will enable staff to train persons with mental or multiple disabilities, children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and learners with difficulties to overcome their challenges by adopting sand‑play, a modern method for training and developing the skills of this group. Al Dosari expressed pride in the efforts made and services provided to children with disabilities at the Centre, praising the contributions of institutions and entities concerned across the Kingdom of Bahrain towards empowering persons with disabilities (people of determination) and integrating them into society.
