The final accounts for the fiscal year ended 2019 were presented, together with developments related to the services budget supported by the Fund for 2020. The Board also discussed the future plan to develop the Fund’s business methodology and resources, as well as the regulations governing the Board’s work, with a view to achieving a broader partnership with the civil society organisations and the private sector, so as to enhance the level and quality of services delivered within the Fund’s remit. On this occasion, His Excellency affirmed that the Ministry of Labour and Social Development is implementing the directives of the wise Government to realise social protection for citizens.
