MLSD Minister discusses with MP the benefit of a number of families from social assistance systems

His Excellency Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, discussed in his office at the Ministry with His Excellency MP Mahmoud Makki Al Bahrani the Ministry's most important projects and initiatives that meet citizens' needs for numerous development services provided to various segments and categories of society. In this context, Al Bahrani reviewed the need of the residents of the Western Region to establish a social centre to serve the region's residents, in addition to discussing proposals to ensure that a number of families benefit from social assistance systems in accordance with the requirements and standards. The meeting also addressed ways to enhance the provision of quality services in the field of qualifying and training jobseekers and integrating them into quality jobs in the private sector. In this context, Humaidan affirmed that the Ministry will spare no effort in monitoring and meeting citizens' development needs, appreciating the role of the Council of Representatives in supporting legislation related to the Ministry’s mandate, and commending, in this context, parliamentary proposals that enhance labour and social aspects.
