His Excellency Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, met on Monday in his office with Mr. Fayez Ali Al-Mutairi, Director-General of the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO). During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of labour and human resources development were discussed. The most prominent initiatives and achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing labour systems and legislation and strengthening the principles of social dialogue between the three production parties were also reviewed. For his part, the Director-General of the Arab Labour Organisation reviewed the Organisation’s efforts to advance joint Arab action and disseminate successful Arab experiences to support the development of labour markets in member states.
