A TOTAL of 220 Bahraini job-seekers registered in the National Employment Project (NEP) are to be given work immediately by Security Services Ltd (SSL) and Group Fro Company (GFC) in accordance with an agreement signed between the Labour Ministry and the two companies yesterday.
One hundred and fifty are to be employed by GFC in batches. The first will be trained in guarding, patrolling and administering First Aid. They are also to benefit from health club services and distinguished employees' bonuses as well as a monthly ceremony held in honour of all company's employees.
A batch of 70 job-seekers is also to be directly employed by SSL with a training programme on general principles of security and safety as well as handling fires and administering First Aids.
The agreements are part of the Ministry's policy to upgrade its partnership with the private sector to solve unemployment, said Labour Ministy's Under-Secretary Shaikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The Ministry has signed similar agreements with Ahmed Mansour Aali Company and Nass company.
